according to the NOAA radar, you guys are getting precipitated on right now. i hope it's the right kind of precipitant. 
i'm not writing from washington to tell you about the weather happening out your window; instead i'd like to thank those that made it to maine for the excellent competition,camraderie and birthday cake. excepting the pursuit and snide remarks from the USBA, i had a splendid time.
