[CBCmembers] Should CBC get a Ning social network to take conversations out of email dist. list?

Seems like a flurry of activity recently and some people want off the list.
 Would it better to setup a CBC network on Ning for conversations and
content to take place there?  Ning is free - ad supported or paid option to
not include ads. Very nice platform.  I have used before.
