Hi CBCers,<div><br></div><div> First of all, thanks to all of you who came out and raced and a double thanks to those who showed up and helped out (especially to Scott Schwartz for serving as on-the-spot timing chief). It is the biggest field I've seen at a CBC event in my tenure with the club. Fantastic! But we can't do this without all the generous volunteer support we get from you, not to mention the welcome dose of patience from everyone on race day. Keep it coming.</div>
<div><br></div><div> I've attached provisional results. I've tried to capture gross distinctions in distance, gender and category (carry vs no carry, NC). Fine age distinctions within a category are just noted (you'll have to do your homework to see how you stack up against those older and younger...). Please have a look and let me know if you spot any mistakes.</div>
<div><br></div><div> Again, it is wonderful to see so many folks out racing. Next up is a two-race weekend January 16 and 17. We'll be making a few small tweaks to the program to try to get two waves of mass start to run smoothly on Saturday (we'll likely include two, shorter zero periods, one before each wave). Details will follow soon, but we'll again count on you, dear racers to help pitch in on race day.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Until then, happy skiing,</div><div>Walter, CBC President</div>
