Elizabeth..I was considering some sort of locking hinged plywood cover recently. After having it vandalized while in CB, security is key. Hell, if someone just had a large plot of land outside of the city limits of Denver or Boulder with maybe some pavement. Just add some wind flags and a rifle rack...voilla.

> Date: Wed, 17 Feb 2010 14:40:42 -0700
> From: pikee@colorado.edu
> To: awilkens@msn.com
> CC: mschlachter@wilshire.com; hikerunski@hotmail.com; schafer.jon@gmail.com; cbcmembers@juliacollins.us
> Subject: Re: [CBCmembers] Summer training target location
>
> The Boulder Rifle Club might work. Anything just left on the range long
> term will certainly be destroyed. However, if we had a little cart or
> something, then it could be locked up except when someone with a combo
> were there to unlock it. Could be one of a handful of members (I did
> finally get in, as did Steve Niessner) or perhaps during public days. I
> can float it with the necessary club officers if there is interest.
>
> Cheers,
>
> Elizabeth
>
> _____________________________________________________________________________
>
> Elizabeth Pike
> Undergraduate Advisor and Instructor
> Department of Geography
> University of Colorado, Boulder
>
>
> On Wed, 17 Feb 2010, Andy Wilkens wrote:
>
> >
> > One need would have to be accessibility for biathletes who would like to train without having to go to the mts. I have the latter type and Boulder Rifle Club lets me put mine on their 50-yard range. They are next to a couple decent hills, so you can run a 0.70mile hill route and come in hot.
> >
> >
> >
> >
> > From: cbcmembers-bounces@juliacollins.us [mailto:cbcmembers-bounces@juliacollins.us] On Behalf Of Andy Wilkens
> > Sent: Wednesday, February 17, 2010 2:09 PM
> > To: hikerunski@hotmail.com; schafer.jon@gmail.com
> > Cc: cbcmembers@juliacollins.us
> > Subject: [CBCmembers] Summer training target location
> >
> > Hi all. Just thought I would float this to all members. I recently brought back my steel biathlon target from MI last fall. I would love some input/suggestions if anyone knows of a location on the front range where it could be set up and utilized for training either running or even rollerskiing if possible. My wife really wants me to get it out of the yard in Denver!
> >
> > Thanks much.
> > Andy Wilkens
> > 303-941-4913
> >
> >
> >
> >
> > From: hikerunski@hotmail.com
> > To: schafer.jon@gmail.com
> > Date: Sat, 13 Feb 2010 10:27:58 -0700
> > CC: cbcmembers@juliacollins.us
> > Subject: Re: [CBCmembers] CBC Dream Team
> >
> > http://www.eurovisionsports.tv
> >
> > They will show live streaming available to most european countries (except for italy).
